Get DirectionSpread over 100 square metres, the Bhuteshwar temple in Mathura, exhibits a unique architectural style. It features a main sanctum and the Patal Devi Cave, a revered spot where King Kansa offered his prayers. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva, known as Bhuteshwar Mahadev. One interesting feature of the temple is a conduit that connects the outside of the side gate to the inside, allowing devotees to perform the abhishek of the Shivling. Additionally, there are several smaller lingas on the left side of the main entrance, enabling worshippers to independently offer prayers and flowers without the assistance of a priest.
